Hello,
Is it a misunderstanding ? It seems that Veristand does not support PWM outputs with DAQ Counters ?
Is it a joke ?
Best regards,

Hi,
Thank you for posting your question on National Instruments' Forum.
Natively, it is indeed not possible to generate a PWM on a DAQ counter inside Veristand.
However, it can be done by creating a custom device.

Custom Device, Custom Device.. for a lot of basic functionnalities, NI replies Custom device custom device....
Excuse me, but when I pay 5000€ for a Veristand which is sold by NI as a "turn-key" HIL solution, I expect no additionnal cost to support basic I/O as PWM outputs with DAQ cards !!!
Is it planned to add this support in Veristand or not ?

Since it can be done with LabVIEW custom tool PWM, can it be done for up to 4 PWM outputs and with out an FPGA but a standard DAQ card with DIO?

NI VeriStand 2012, which just released, added integrated support for PWM output using DAQmx X-Series cards.

Some clarification for future viewers:
Pulse Measurement in NIVS 2012 works only for X series PCI or PXI devices (usb not supported)
Pulse Generation in NIVS 2012 works on any DAQ device if the "hardware timed single point" property is set false. If that property is left at default, true, then it requires PCI/PXI X series (usb not supported)
