ECU OBD-II data with Veristand

Hi.  Has anyone had luck reading obd PIDs (e.g., $C for engine speed) using the ECU MC add-on for Veristand with an a2l file?  What has to be done for this to work?  9188 compact DAQ chassis, 9862 module, General Motors ECM (ECU), Veristand 2011 sp1.  Thanks. -KB.

Hi KB,

The ECUMC add-on for VeriStand will only work with the CCP/XCP protocols, not OBD-II data. To read OBD data, you can create a NI VeriStand add-on (https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/veristand/page/add-on.html) utilizing the automotive diagnositc command set (https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/product/automotive-diagnostic-command-set-toolkit.html).
