XNET vi not executable 2019R2

When trying to deploy a Veristand project with NI-Xnet in Veristand 2019 R2 I get the attached error, has anyone encountered this and been able to solve it? So far I've tried the following,

  • Repair NI-XNET
  • Unistall and Re-install Veristand
  • Install every RIO driver I could find (based on similar posts on here from earlier versions)
  • Try a fresh project without my dbc's and settings set

Hi sdwael, Have you tried reinstalling XNET? Not just repairing... Seems to me like a broken installation. It happened to me at least once, but I haven't put the resolution in my notes 😞

Hi sdwael, I suspect you are deploying to Windows and encountering Bug 959542, which is documented in the VeriStand 2019 R3 Bug Fix List: https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/documentation/bugs/20/veristand-2019-r3-bug-fixes.html

If this is when deploying to Windows, the best solution is upgrading to 2019 R3. Otherwise, there are a couple of workarounds, although they are not ideal, such as deploying to Phar Lap first without closing the project.

Thanks Brian, I hadn't seen that link and R3 fixed it right away!
