assigning priority to Multiple alarms

Hi,

I am using nearly 20 alarm monitors in my case. I have assigned the priority of 15 to all alarms(On a guess it is medium). the priority given in numbers in NI VS 2011. But it doesn't seems to be working more over when i open the Alarm monitor window it takes more time to list the alarms available. Am not finding enough help in case of assigning priority. Can anyone help me with that?

What issue are you seeing? What isn't working exactly?

Hi Jarrod,

Though the channels cross the alarm limits, still it doesn't indicate in the alarm monitor. Am using a condition where the procedure will wait for input from user and reset the alarm. But am not seeing the triggering of alarm at all here. And the System channels like Tripped medium alarm, tripped high alarm and tripped low alarm also not indicating the alams are tripped
