can i use VirtualBench as communication protocol instead of NI USB_8451 module?

I have used the VirtualBench as an I2C master.  It just uses 2 of the DIO lines.  Check the manual for the exact signals.  If you are using LabVIEW, there is a palette specifically for I2C and another for SPI.

 

I went ahead and moved this thread to the VirtualBench board, where you will likely get better support.
