Extract Data

I'm trinyg to figure out if I have options when extracting/collecting data points from a gateway.

Can a NI gateway simply communicate and deliver data to an OPC server for collection or do I have to use LabView to extract/collect data from a gateway?

I basically just want to send data points from the gateway and store it on a server for later analysis.

To have a PLC (or in this case, the WSN) be able to communicate with an OPC server, it would communicate using a driver. 

OPC Server uses OPC-DA to communicate with the Shared Variable Engine (SVE)

Are you using NI OPC Servers software?
