Multiplexer for WSN

Hi,

I have to deploy a WSN system and I have 12 RTD in the same spot. I planned to use 3 wsn-3226 side by side, but it would be probably more cost effective to use some sort of multiplexer. Does it exist something to solve this problem ?

Hello,

Although we do not have a product that has a multiplexer that does what you are asking, you could purchase a third party IC mutliplexer  and use the Sens Power pin on the 3226 to power the mulitplexer. However, doing so would drain the WSN batteries fairly quickly which could be avoided with the use of a battery pack or plugging the modules into a wall. This would then however defeat the wireless capability of the node. Therefore, multiplexing the nodes is not recommended.
