movement/ positioning sensors

Hello All,

Does any one know what kind of sensor senses the location or placement of an object? E.g. if the sensor is placed on 4 connected walls, and one of the walls is moved from its placed. I want

i sensor that can sense the position of the moved wall relative to the other walls. What sensor can do that? Any ideas please

You could probably use an IR sensor to measure displacement like the one I list below and an NI WSN-3226 Voltage Node from our Wireless Sensor Network product line. See the links below for more information.
