myrio digital channels always HIGH

Solved!

Now that everything is fixed, the digital channels function properly when a VI is running. However, when the myRIO is powered but just sitting (not running a VI) the DIO channels are all HIGH. Is there a way to change this so they are LOW when no VI is running??

Glad you got it sorted - I guess it was an installation problem then?

According to the documentation for the myRIO:

On the MXP connectors, each DIO line from 0 to 13 has a 40 kΩ pullup resistor to 3.3 V, and DIO lines 14 and 15 have 2.2 kΩ pullup resistors to 3.3 V. MSP connector C has eight DIO lines. Each MSP DIO line has a 40 kΩ pulldown resistor to ground.

You would need to either use the MSP connector C as that has lines that are pulled down, or use a stronger resistor on the other lines to cause it to float in the other direction (e.g. towards ground).

Thanks!

Yep, the problem was the software installation. I had to uninstall it all and re-install.
