I just got to play with the myRIO, so forgive me if this question is stupid, but is it possible to plug in a USB bluetooth dongle? If not, what is the easiest way to connect a bluetooth interface to the myRIO?
In order to use a USB Bluetooth dongle with myRIO you will need to make some changes to the OS. The NI Linxu Real-Time group is the best resource for OS customization questions.
Alternatly you could use a simple USB Bluetooth dongle with a UART or SPI interface like the BlueSMiRF without any OS custimizations. These modules usually provide fewer features but can be good enough depending on what it is you're trying to do.
