CAN and VB6 very slow

Is there somebody who could help me. I programmed my application with Visual Basic 6. The receiving of a CAN-message lasts very long (about 500ms), but no timeout occures. Is this normal or what´s wrong in my software.

Hi,

It is hard to say what could be wrong or if anything is wrong with your setup from the given information. If your CAN network only has a single message going out every half second, then that is of course what you would see. Since no timeout occures, this would seem to be the case.
