I am attempting to install the PCI DeviceNet card on my computer. I have installed (and reinstalled) the software NI-DNET 1.6 and NI-CAN 2.5. After I insert the PCI card, I am able to install the driver sucessfully with the Add Hardware Wizard and the card is listed in Measurement and Automation Explorer. However, the self-test command indicates that there is a "memory resource conflict". The Windows Device Manager reports that the device is working properly and that there are no resource conflicts. Likely as a result of this problem, the computer will lock up when performing some tasks such as trying to configure the card in Measurement and Automation Explorer.
The DeviceNet card is "NI PCI-DNET, 1-Port, Windows", 777358-01. The PCI card driver listed in the Device Manager is nicanpkw.sys, version 2.5.0f0. The computer is running Windows XP, Service Pack 2. The computer has no other specialized periferials or interface cards.
I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this problem.
Thank you,
Mark
