Need to slow down POLL loop rate

I find that when I configure a device for polling and a connection is opened, the poll rate appears to run as fast as the computer will allow. I need to control the poll loop rate or "scan rate" so it scans once every 100ms. Some devices cannot handle a fast scan rate, must be slower than 10ms. How do I change my scan rate?

Thanks for contacting National Instruments.

I think you can accomplish what you are trying to do by using a different mode instead of Automatic. For example, if you use the Scanned mode, then you should be able to set the ExpPacketRate to the value you are interested in using as the poll rate.
