Carnac the Magnificient - sarcastic answers to serious questions/comments

In Windows: ALT+CTRL+ Right Arrow

I had forgotten the specific key combination but I remember a friend teaching this to me and then proceeding to flip the displays of all the computers in our high school's library.

The file is probably named "ReadMe.txt" for some obscure reason that nobody could understand.😉

Sorry, this is completely off topic:

Your link goes to .../page/2.

This has some drawbacks for users which use other 'Linear Layout Settings' preferences, like me 😎

Oldest first, newest first, 10, 20 or 50 posts per page, ...,  so many possibilities that page 2 does not fit.

I suggest linking directly to the corresponding message. This can be done by copying the link of the message number of "Message X of N (YY Views)" at the bottom left of the message.

Thanks 👍.

Thanks 👍.

For me the links go to

old link:   https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Offline-Help-window-in-LabVIEW-2022/td-p/4250580/page/2

new link: https://forums.ni.com/t5/Instrument-Control-GPIB-Serial/NI-488-2-Build-Error/m-p/4383010#M86467

No wonder I was confused to not find a 'ReadMe.txt' 😀

Mobile phone "Smart" devices sometimes change paste options in the autocorrect bar from expected to older copied hrefs. This can cause unintended errors when pasting text.

Lucky Me! I have an active edit methodology A la

<Surprise Sea Stories>

I actually accidentally generated nicknames for 2 different men.

  • "Annie" got his nickname after I had to "Shake and Shout" the dude after he fell down.  If you have been through a CPR class, you met his namesake, "Resussa-Annie!" < Annie! Annie! Are you OK?>
  • The second guy drove a "red Camero!"  Auto-corrected to "rectum arrow"  yes, he was simply referred to as "Wrecked-'em" after that.

Is cowworker the woke (gender neutral) term for cowboy?

I thought the term was "cow-orker".
