Funny threads

LOL!!  Out of context, my sentence makes no sense.  LOL 😄

As I recall, the OP wanted to open or run a VI (not compiled) without having LabVIEW installed.

I may have been corrected that it is possible.  I have not tried it yet.  I am building a new PC and will create virtual machines running windows.  I will have to try it 🙂

Ofcourse you have to keep diagram and code in the same file, no split code and panels. 🙂

I post a problem on the forum.

Application engineer posts an example which does not illustrate the problem (and doesn't really even come close).

A week alter Same application engineer posts on the problems with HIS code and thinks the problem is solved.

Facepalming ensues.

HERE.

Ugh, then I post my code which demonstrates the issue and he replies asking me to post code......

It's not April 1st yet is it?

Yep, that is gettting a little rediculous.

Here is what you did wrong in the example I gave you.

Oh, and it is apparent you have never touched FPGA.

*rolls eyes*  I'd be really tempted to request a new AE.

HA! I just came to post your thread here, but I saw you already beat me to it. Look, I even have the link copied already(http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/polymorphic-VI-on-FPGA/td-p/2357234)

When somebody tries to make the front panel smaller and "delete the extra blank space since I do not need it" is the most serious stumling block, we are in trouble!!! :o:D

(That seems similar to trying to delete the unused HD space or kill that pesky "idle process" that seems to be using nearly 100% of the CPU at all times :D)

So, of your car won't start, sending a picture of the speedometer stuck at zero probably won't be very helpful to your mechanic in diagnosing the problem.

,,, so why would it seem like a good idea here to illustrate a problematic LabVIEW program with screenshots of the task manager and the system propert...? No word about the program itself!
