Well, the CV does not pass the first hurdle, which is the correct lettercase spelling of LabVIEW. 😮

What was even funnier was that he seemed to be confused between a LabVIEW and driver's license.
LOL, you are right. Not sure if he actually also confused e-mailing and forum posting.
The sentence: "Also acquired training in LabView so I consider myself proficient in LabView now." would look so much more convincing if there was also a short acronym starting with CL.... 😄

And really...... how long have you measued your proficiency that way?... With a TLA or an XTLA?
What is that Chrisian? Are you trying to get a link on the funny threads post?
BUT! ITs finally really happening! a proficiency litmus test that involves a Certification as a first order question!
A former co-worker of mine ( and not a half-bad developer in his own right) asked me on the phone today what he needed to get hired. Guess what I suggested?- a TLA to hang on his resume. He'll "Get around to it soon"![]()
EDIT: F-ing spoilers don't edit right in FF. Jordan! I'm more embarassed than angry.
(That could make a funny threads entry of my own
)

OK, bad red/black link is bad. if you have no clearance, or are a security threat like Jim look here
That would be funnier if I linked to the online arrest warrent here:
Thank whoever that native recursion is possible in LabVIEW....I'd spoiler the next line but.......... Is it really needed?

To me, the saddest part of it isn't misspelling LabVIEW. It's that he posts his driver's licence... and he's got a Secret Security Clearence.
Funny, I thought, you need to be trustworth with sensitive information to get that clearence.

I'm trying to collect enough letters after my surname to get the highest possible triple word score I can in scrabble.
Unfortunately, writing my doctoral thesis is less interesting at the moment than working towards a long-overdue CLD.

You can't always just go by the lettercase. The CV may have come via a recruiting agency who often apply -erm- liberal alterations to any piece of paper they look at.
Of course, in this example it's clearly an error from the source.

All I really need is a OLA (One letter acronym): C
