Getting back into the market after a long gap!

Hi !!

  I have over 3 years of experience in LabWindows CVI & TestStand. I have worked for both aerospace & automation industry. But I have been out of job for last 2 and a half years now. I want to get back into the market. Do u think NI trainings and certifications will help me? I would appreciate any tips or suggestions for preparing myself to get into the market. Please reply

LabWindows/CVI isn't as popular as LabVIEW.

So, if you were going to spend the money on taking the certification tests, I am not sure I would do it for LabWindows/CVI.

More importantly, you'll need to explain to potential employers the 2.5 years employment gap.

That is a lot, and they will most likely ask.
