Ben, you have a very nice place, I am jealous! 🙂 What is the area roughly, looks very big?

By the way, what is your smart phone model you use? I think it has a problem with the autofocus, and not with the bad lightning. Some of the photos are quite good, some others are really bad. For example my Sony Xperia X Compact (almost) always shots very nice and sharp pictures, I use it for my travels, I have no regular camera. And this phone is really not a flagship model. Maybe you could try a new phone?

I shot this one in Porto, Portugal during my last trip there with my smartphone. Nice interference on the water surface 🙂

I have frequently referred to The LMB.  There are actually 2 women who have earned that moniker.  The elder of them is my mother.  That LMB is currently in an OR having some plumbing redone.  If you have any pull with the guy upstairs, it can't hurt.

I love bad puns and I got hit with one today.

I purchased a used Jeep Liberty on Friday.

it is white like the cars driven by my co-workers and the two people that work in the neighboring office.

I pointed out that it is more than a Yatzee because a Yatzee only needs five.

My co-wrokers then asked "what would you have if everyone in the country drove a white car?

Color? I wonder how much fuel it eats! I guess comparable to the benzin consumption of a smaller European village 😄

It has the aerodynamics of a block of cheese, but that is relatively irrelevant for slow offroad travel. It can go places where your average sedan cannot go. 😄
