Tim is correct that I pulled a swing-n-miss on attempt 1. I highly recommend the online training since the exam appears toallign closely with examples used as learning vehicles in the course. I had fully intended to complete those courses before attempting the recert I lost track of time and shot from the hip. I did not even leave myself the time to refresh on the example exams. I just suddenly saw the Nov 17th date and went into panic mode. Oh no! I have been so vocal about training and certification AND I AM ABOUT TO LAPSE!
Lesson learned. Watch the calender.
Tim, I appreciate your additional insight on the matter.
next month I will ask for a waiver on personal objects and take the 8-ball with me into the exam.
Just go for the CLA and then join us in Austin in March! I've heard the CLA exam is easier than the CLD-R (to which I say "YIKES").

Anyway, it appears that folks will be able to sit for the original four-hour exam instead of the one-hour multiple-guess trick-question -R exams. 😄 I think I'll stick with the forums, cramming and the 40 questions every three years.

Cross post not compost (darned auto correct)
you sure this wasn't a "mistake" in order to "require" an additional, clarification post, in order to up your post count
