I have the dasylab 9 and I want to install the adam 4019+ from advantech

Does anyone know how to do this?

please tell it as simle as you can because I am new to this..

Dear greek,

I have checked the current DASYLab 11.0.1 Advantech ADAM driver. We support here only the devices from Screenshot. A 4019+ is not yet supported. I found on Advantech homepage http://www.advantech.de/products/search.aspx?keyword=4019+ the message "... ADAM-4019+ provides not only ADAM ASCII commands, but also the Modbus/RTU protocol for satisfying different application demands ..." There is an workaround that you use the device based on our DASYLab 11.x Modbus module?

for an Modbus support you need DASYLab 11.0.x.

I don't know why they cannot connect. I don't have any modules here to test with. I reviewed the ADAM manual, and they don't indicate the data type for the registers. DASYLab V9 only supports unsigned and signed integer data types.

the V11 modbus is more flexible. Try downloading the evaluation from www.dasylab.com, and then the service pack. See if the V11 modbus module works.

the attachments tell me that you don't use DASYLab 11.0.x. Our last posts tell you that is not useful. Between DASYLab 9.x ... 10.x and now 11.x are a lot of important bugfixes for general modbus handling. You can only use a current DASYLab 11.0.x for this job! DASYLab 9.x is not longer supported from NI.
