Can I use Dasylab to log video data from a webcam

Sometimes it would be useful to be able to record video while measuring for example strain or hydraulic pressure.
I would like to record video and later on with the help of a video sequence analyze what causes for example peaks in signals.

Thanks,

Tobias

DASYLab does not support video data capture. You could configure it to trigger an outside application, but, that wouldn't necessarily coordinate with your sensor data. I've seen one customer application that used the same external trigger to trigger his camera and the DASYLab data acquisition. Another customer has written a module that triggers his camera software, based on a DASYLab event.

This type of feature is better accomplished using a program such as LabVIEW, where there are toolkits to work with different types of data, including video.
Measurement Computing (MCC) has free technical support. Visit www.mccdaq.com and click on the "Support" tab for all support options, including DASYLab.
