Copy files with dasylab

Solved!
Go to solution

Hallo!

I need a little bit help! I would like to copy files by pressing a button in dasylab, is that possible?

Another question:

Is it possible to discover if a external storage device is connected with dasylab?

This is the reason why I am asking:

I save measured data on the Hard drive. For our customer I need to backup the files on an external device. I would like to backup these files by pressing a button.

Maybe someone can help me out?

Thanks a lot

Have a nice day

You can use the Action module to run an external program, including a command line copy command.

The Switch would then connect to the Action.

The normal DASYLab program cannot confirm that a drive exists. You could write a batch/script to do all that and start it using the Action module.

Measurement Computing (MCC) has free technical support. Visit www.mccdaq.com and click on the "Support" tab for all support options, including DASYLab.
