Problem with DASYLab measuring and display speeds

Today I noticed a big problem when using DASYLab.

After using it the entire day, the program became real slow, because I noticed this before I saved my project and started a new project.

Then I made a project with a slider and a digital meter, this digital meter still responded very slow en when I save to data to a ASCII file I don't get a continous flow of data.

The only solution is restarting the program and starting a new project, saved projects still have this problem.

Does anyone know this problem?

There are many things that can contribute to this.... what is the version of DASYLab? What is the DAQ device? What is the Operating System?

Knowing all that, what is your sample rate and block size, and what is the worksheet doing? Can you post the worksheet?

Well all the settings are the same as when you start a new project.

The worksheet existed out of a slider 0-5 V and a digital meter.

When I moved the slider from 0-5V in about 10 seconds I only got about 6 different values.

When I restart the program and re-open this file the same problem occurs.

When I restart the program and use a new project with the same worksheet: slider 0-5 V and a digital meter.

The values are continous and increase gradually as is expected.

The operating system is windows 7.

At the time I wasn't using any DAQ-device, but the DAQ-device that commonly is used is de MCC-DAQ USB2408.

I added my worksheet and a print screen

Now I made a new one, with a little expansion for determining time differenence.

And this one has the normal quick respons.

It is almost as if, if one error message has popped up the entire worksheet slows down.

Does someone know anything about this?

I believe that the Min/Max is holding everything up.

Go to the View -> Animation and turn on the FIFO Filling level. You'll see that the data flow indicator is turning red.

The first channel of the Min/Max is only outputting a single value for the maxima. As a result, there are not enough samples to fill the data flow and to match the rest of the logic.

You should have received a data blocked error message. If you turned those off, then you missed an important symptom that your logic will not work.
