data acquisition hardware - reading pressures

I have set up three pressure and three flow transducers/mitters to display on computer screen. I want to record these values on the computer. Do I need additional data acquisittion hardware, beyond the A/D interface and the sensors? thanks for the help.

Baboo,

What type of A/D interface do you have? Is it a National Instruments data acquisition (DAQ) device? Most likely, you will also need a terminal block or signal conditioning interface for sensor connectivity and a cable to connect this to the DAQ device.

Let me know.

Spencer S, The interface is RS232. I hooked up two D5000 series modules (#5212 see www.omega.com). The modules inputs go to pressure and flow analog devices. The modules interface via com port and "hyper terminal, Windows 98, I set this up a couple of years ago to display Pressure and Flow on the computer monitor. Now I need to do some testing which requires saving, acquisition, and some help getting there. Is my hard ware sufficient to capture the data given I have already conditioned and display pressure and flow? The application is evading me.

Thank you,

Baboo
