I'm getting a "time information or block length do not match" error message when I try to sampl data with a series of relays. I now have 4 relays. One to allow the trigger the start of gathering data "Relay00". The other three (as shown below) switch the data from one data plot to the other so that every 3670 degrees the data is plotted with another color.
Figure 1. Schematic of my working file. (also in attachment form)
This works well until I try to change it. Then I get the "do not match" message. For example, I added a second set of connectors independant of what is shown in Figure 1 and I get the error message. What in the schematic could be dangerous to a proper functioning DAQ?
I can remove the signal adaptation and everything works fine. ...most of the time...
Thanks.

The default mode for the Counter module is to output one value per block.
Change it to one value per value, to keep the timing the same as the input channels.
If you do that for both Counter modules, you may not need the Adapt module.

Thanks for the quick response!
I already have the counters set to this. As I said, the adapt module is not necessary. I can remove and it functions properly. As soon as I change anything, say create a second X-Y chart displaying another parameter in an analogous fashion, I get the error message. Any other ideas?

I have simplified it to the image below. The XY chart cannot plot the data. Any ideas why not? It's like there's an instability of some sort. Sometimes it works others it wont!

How is the first relay configured?
You have two sources for the x/y chart - the top comes through a relay, the bottom doesn't.
Is the Relay set to "Replace with" ?
Otherwise, if that's not it, I need to look at the simplified worksheet. You can post it, or send me a private message.

Well, it seems I have serendipitously solved the problem. I can not say what it was, but this problem has been solved.
Thanks for your help!

YOu didn't happen to delete and replace the Relay module, did you?

Quite frankly, I am not sure what I did. I reconfigured and rebuilt the whole thing. What happened is beyond me.

I'm now suspecting that one of the wires going into the Relay was corrupt.
It happens occasionally that the data structure that is respresented by the wire has some wrong information.
Removing the wires and replacing them will sometimes resolve an issue.
How would you diagnose that? It's difficult, because the symptom doesn't reflect the problem at all. Sometimes, if you turn on the the FIFO Animation, you can see that one data output on an upstream module is turning red, when it shouldn't.
I would certainly be interested in a copy of the worksheet, to confirm that.
