A freeframe with border is not correctly exported to the pdf document (DIAdem 10.2)

In the exported pdf the area of the background exceeds the border of a FreeFrame. This is sometims pretty ugly. This error comes in both modes: scaled and relativ layout. In the scaled mode it seems to me that some values for x1,x2,y1,y2 will be rounded ....

Thanks in advance

Hello LWahnfried,

please let me know some details about your system. What version of Diadem did you use? Can you post some steps to reproduce the issue? Perhaps you create a small example and post it here.

Regards, Jan

I use DIAdem 10.2 and now I just installed version 11, but I would prefer a solution for 10.2 because this is installed on our customer pcs.

I did the following:

- Open Diadem

- switch to report view and create a new and empty report (A4, portrait)

- draw a rectangle

- set border to 0.25pt

- set background to red

- do a pdf-export

Here is a screen capture of the result pdf with the freeframe made with DIAdem 11.0 :

What I like to have, is that there is no background color outside the border.

Hello again,

thank you for your detailed informations. I could reproduce the discussed issue and I posted it to our specialists. At the moment there is no workaround for this. It seems you found, just a little one, but it is a bug. I will give the informations to our R&D team and we try to fix that in further versions. Thanks again for your help to find that bug.

Best wishes, Jan
