Default Font Sizes

Hiya

I am new to Diadem so please forgive this question if it is trivial. I am generating Report sections from Views using the 'Transfer to Report' Icon. Is it possible to specify default font sizes (and other parameters for that matter) during the transfer process? At the moment I have to edit the report and it is taking a long time. I am guessing that I should be able to do this automatically by changing a setting somewhere?

Hi Dave,

At the moment, DIAdem transfers the data from View to Report with the standard report layout. As a result, the transferring process itself won't allow you to change the parameters to your liking. 

You have a few different options, you can either set up a report template that you export your data to. This would be different from using 'Transfer To Report' but would ensure that the report for each of your sets of data are identical every time. 

The other option is to edit the default settings for the report objects. For example, if you'd like to put down a table, right click the table you wish to under '2D Table' and click 'Predefine Settings'. From here, you can edit the default aspects of the item, such as the font size. Now, your objects will automatically have the aspects you wish them to.
