Hi Andreas,
when did this problem first occur? Where there any known changes/crashes on the system before? Does the crash happen every time you start DIAdem?
Please open the Measurement and Automation Explorer. Are there any error messages when you open the tool?
Kind regards,
Bernd

Hi andreas,
please see this link: As you will see DAQmx 8.5 is not supported by DIAdem 8.0.
That means you have these two options: Install an older version of DAQmx or install an actual version of DIAdem (recommended)

Hi All,
If you see DIAdem 8.x close down immediately after completing its launch, it could well be a driver incompatibility for the case that you have DIAdem-DAC (with DAC and VISUAL panels), as was mentioned above. But there is another situation with identical symptoms that occurs with DAC-less DIAdem (the kind usually sold in the US without the DAC and VISUAL panels). On my compute this occurs when I install a modern version of DIAdem and DIAdem 8.x on the same computer (not order dependent).
The solution in this case is to manually re-register the VBScript host:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\DIAdem 8.10\vbscript.dll"

Thanks for your answers!
I have now deinstalled all new DAQ(mx)driver and installed NI-DAQ 6.9.3 Traditional Driver (includes MAX 2.2.0.3010) and DIAdem 8.0 works fine.
