Down Sampling Digital Data From 100Hz to 1Hz

Once again Im in a bit of a pickle...

I have Fuel Pulse data that is sampled at 100Hz. The data aquisition unit records a 1 each time the flowmeter pulses and it is sampling at 100Hz. My goal is to convert this 100Hz pulse data to 1Hz pulse data within DIAdem. Basically I need it to incriment every 100 sample points sum the values of the 100 sample points and output the new value (1Hz data) to a new channel. Im a bit stumped as to how to go about doing this in DIAdem.

Thanks,

~Nate

Hello Nate102,

You can use the function „Reducing Classification“ of the „Statistic“ Toolbar in ANALYSIS. There you can define the interval (X-Channel tab) which could be selected as “Begin/End/Width”. In this case is “Width” the time range for 100 values.

Greetings

Walter
