Did you mean:

Error ModName: msvcr80.dll

When I try to run a script in DIAdem that was working three days ago, the program shuts down without an error warning. When you click to on the extra info of the windows error reporting, it gives the following information:

AppName: diadem.exe AppVer: 10.2.0.3031 ModName: msvcr80.dll

ModVer: 8.0.50727.762 Offset: 00045c6f

Does anyone know what this means or how to stop DIAdem from closing when I run the script?

Hi, HockeyDude,

Several questions for you:

1) What operating system are you using?
2) It looks like you're using DIAdem 10.2, is that correct?
3) What does the script do? Is that the only script causing the problem or other scripts do the same thing.
4) I noticed you posted a similar post earlier, is that the same issue?

Hi, Song,

Thanks for replying. I am using Windows XP on a dell system. I am using DIAdem 10.2. Every script that use to execute for me does this problem, even when I write new scripts the same problem happens. The earlier post was about the same issue.

Thank you for your help. I figured the problem out. Not sure what it was, but I just rewrote the whole entire thing letter by letter and it worked. Some odd reason a new exact copy works.

Hi Hockeydude,

would it be possible to get a copy of the script which caused the problem ? R&D would like to find out what the root cause for the problem was.

Thanks

Andreas
