You are right. In DIAdem 8.1 it works only if DIAdem shows the dialog. This is a feature that was include in the later versions.

Hi Guys,

A less flattering, but more accurate description of the situation, is that this was a bug in DIAdem 8.1 and was fixed in DIAdem 9.0. That's why the documentation describes the feature.
