Installing a DIAdem Plugin from the command line?

Hi all,

I thought the following line might work for installing a DIAdem plugin via the command line:

"C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\USI\Bin\usiReg.exe" MyPlugin.uri

Does DIAdem already have to be started up for this to work or can it work without having DIAdem running?

I know you can do it by double clicking the .uri file or via the DataPlugin menu in DIAdem, but I want to be able to do via command line.

Thanks for your help.

Hello Rich!

It will work without a running DIAdem. It can for example be part of a installation process. You do not need to specify the 'usireg.exe'. Just put the complete URI-Filename in the command line and Windows will treat this like a double click. If you need a silent operation than you have to call the urireg.exe with the desired options.
