Is there a portal selection change event?

Is there a way I can detect when a user selects something different in the data portal?

Do you mean an event that occurs anytime someone clicks on a different channel/group in the Data Portal pane?  Or an event that occurs whenever data from the Data Portal is used somewhere?  (e.g. VIEW, ANALYSIS, etc.)

No there isn't an event for data portal.

Just for clarity, there is no such Portal change event as of DIAdem 2017.
