Does anyone have Steam Tables (IAPWS-IF97) for Diadem? Or any kind of calculation model for steam/water properties?
Simple example: you have the pressure inside the vessel (as a channel) and want to know, which saturation temperature corresponds to it. The pressure channel exists, the temperature channel should be calculated.
We have an add-on for EXCEL, but I'd like to work direct in Diadem, without export/import of the data for every calculation.

Hi Dia791,
I found a saturation table, which shows the saturation quantity over water (from -100 °C to 100 °C) and ice (from -100 °C to 0 °C)

The general formula for calculating the saturation quantity [kg/m³] for water is:
(vapor pressure of water[Pa]) / (461,52[J/kg °C] * temperature[°C])
Formula for vapor pressure of water [hPa]:
6.112[hPa] * exp{ (17,62 * temperature[°C]) / (243,12[°C] + temperature[°C]) }
I hope this helps you implementing a function in DIAdem!

Matijas

Hello Matijas,
thank you for support, but these are even the single values.
The formulas are helpful, they can solve at least a part of the problem.

Meanwhile the issue is cleared.
