lvm file time channel not read by Diadem 9

I have recorded a lvm file by LV 7.01 express write function with time channel declared in the first column. In spite of this fact Diadem 9 does not recognize it in Data Portal. Generating additionally time channel by Diadem function Analyze\GenerateData is possible but it is not probably right system solution. What to do ?

Hello,

I tried to replicate the issue that you are experiencing but unfortunately I was not able to experience the same behavior that you are seeing. One option is that you can use Diadem to generate the time channel. If that does not work out, you can place a small example of how you are creating your .lvm file and I will try to replicate your issue.

I hope this information is helpful.

Hi pes,

I agree with Kevin that the best way to solve your issue would be to have your data file and the LabVIEW code that generated it here for replication purposes. I do remember that there was a bug of this sort fixed with the DIAdem 9.0 service pack. If you have not done so already, please try installing the free service pack and see if that helps this issue:

Hello Kevin,

updating with Service Pack 1 to Diadem 9.01 helped to solve this problem. Looking back I have two remarks : 1. As the newcomer to Diadem I was not too aware of a SP1 update. 2. Still this bug is a little bit strange to me because lvm files belong obviously to basic LV measurement record structures and proper Diadem loading as expected was done only in Win 98 SE.

Best regards.
