migrate dataplugin settings

I'm running Diadem 10.1. Wrote a number of dataplugins which are stored on network. Computer A has the configuration that says what plugins to use with files. Changing from computer A to computer B. Same version of Diadem. I want to migrate ALL the dataplugin settings from computer A to computer B. With MAX I can export a configuration file and then import the configuration to another computer. Is there a way to export the Diadem dataplugin configuration into a file and then import it on another computer or a file that I can simply copy?

Hi Steve,

I'm not aware of any way to do this in DIAdem 10.1.  DIAdem 11.1 introduced a configuration file that you can use to pass DataFinder configurations from computer A to computer B.  These DataFinder configurations include the file extension associations for all the DataPlugins, but only as they pertain to the yellow Search Areas of the DataFinder, not all the grey folders that show up in the NAVIGATOR.

How many DataPluginsare you dealing with?

Only about a dozen, so I can simply run back and forth between the two computers. I was hoping for something cleaner. At least 11.1 does it. Oh well.

Thank you,
