saving work-in-progress

Hello all,
As a newbie you will have to be gentle with me.
I am a new user of Diadem 10.1 and am so far self taught as my official training has not yet been established. I am actually proceeding quite well but one of my major problems is how do I save my part finished WIP such that I can return to it at a later date.?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Bryan,

Right now you have to save each element of your WIP separately.  We know that we need to make this easier for our customers and are already thinking about how to do that.  There is a workspace which you can save in DIAdem-SCRIPT that will automatically load any VBScripts you were working on before (make sure you save your desktop file so DIAdem knows which workspace to load next time).  For the data in the Data Portal, you need to save it to a TDM file.  For layouts in VIEW / REPORT, you need to save them to TDV / TDR files.  You can in select in the General Settings dialog which TDM, TDV, TDR files to automatically load on startup, so if you are very determined you can indeed teach DIAdem to reconstitute your previous state, but it requires quite a bit of non-obvious set up and does NOT automatically change when you switch projects.
