Event Arguments Window should use control values as default values for the public API request VI

Status: Declined

After consideration and discussion, we decided to decline this feature request.

We believe that our current implementation matches what the LV developer expects when wanting to make the control's default value: right-click> make default.

We really appreciate your input, declining the idea does not mean it didn't help us fine-tune the scope of DQMH and reconsider our strategy. Please keep those ideas coming 😉

When creating a new DQMH event, I'd like this

This is already implemented. The scripting tools directly copy the controls from the arguments window into the event arguments cluster.

You must "Make Current Value Default" when changing the values on the argument window and before creating the event.

as explained on discord, my suggestion is to not require the user to do the "Make Current Value Default" in the Event Arguments Window
