Board with change detection and onboard timing.

Hi all,
I would like to choose DAQ board for my task. I have 4 DI. on every rising or falling edge of which I have to generate signal sequence at one of the DO and on every rising edge of this output signal I must read data on another digital input line. So I need a board with change detection (I choose NI 6509 ). But the problem is that this board does not support onboard timing. That means my output will be software dependent.
Which bard would be useful for my task?

Hi akasilov,

Most of the M Series boards (PCI 6225, 6251 etc.) will be able to do Correlated Digital Output and Change Detection. However just keep in mind that you can have one Digital Input task running at a time for one board. The same goes with Digital Out and Analog Input and Output. So you could have a Digital Input task and a Digital Ouput task running at the same time but you cannot have two Digital Input tasks or two Digital Ouput tasks runnning at the same time. Each task can have any number of channels (only limited by the number of channels on your board).
