Control USB 6501 using C

Hi, I'm trying to use C to control USB 6501 to output a 1 Hz pulse and some logic signals. However, I don't know how to start with it. I can only get error even when I run the example codes. Anyone else can tell me some ideas? Thanks.

Another question is that whether USB 6501 can give a 1 Hz pulse since some other said it has no HW support. Thanks!

Thanks! I've solved the problem about generating pulse and digital signal by modifying the examples. The problem happened before is that I was ignoring the device specifications. Thank you all the same:)
