I2C and NI-6501 vs. NI-8451

Hello all,
I need to control two separate I2C busses from LabView and have little experience with LabView.

Has someone out there used the low-cost NI-6501 to implement I2C ?
With what success ?
If so, can you share your VIs ?

As for the NI-8451, someone has any proven experience with it ?
I'm backing away from this option, as it's more expensive and I would need to buy two of these...
