i'm trying to acquire a byte data from the chip onto channel 16 using NI-HSDIO.i can see the transitions in a .hws file but when i try to read the byte using LABVIEW,it gives me either the first few samples or the last few samples of .hws waveform.
how do i read a byte(serial) acquired on a channel using NI_HSDIO??could you send me some examples regarding the same??

Try with the shipping example "Acquire and Save to HWs File" vi and make sure you give the right number of samples to acquire.
