is it possible to control four 8 bit-port from P0 32bits in PCI6229 ?

I'm going to replace PCI6025E to PCI6229 due to EOL of  PCI6025E in our tester.

In PCI6025E, these are one DIO0-7 port and three 8bit-port that are used in our tester.

I'd like  to set the same from for PCI6229,too.

and My question is ,as tthese is one P0 32bit-port @PCI6229,

is it possible to control four 8 bit-ports from P0 32bit-port  ?

Pls tell me about the above.

the used software is VC++ and Daxmx. PC is window-7

Then you should probably avoid the PCI-6229 since it is being listed as "Mature".  In other words, it is approaching the end of its production life.  I recommend you give your local NI rep a call and work through what the most appropriate device is for your application.

EDIT: From here, it looks like NI recommends using a PCIe-6323 as a replacement for the PCI-6229.  And on page 6 of the manual, it lists P0 as a 32-bit port.
