I am unable to configure the NI VISA Sound and Vibration Soft Front Panels NI Dynamic Signal Analyzer for an accelerometer. Per the calibration certificate the sensitivity at 100 Hz is 1018mV/g. The configuration does not accept this value and I get an error message which reads as shown in attachment. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot!

Your attached PDF brings up two questions with respect to configuration of hardware and logging in the DSA Soft Front Panel.
First, configuring a high-sensitivity sensor may also require you to adjust the input range so as to not exceed the input range of the data acquisition hardware. This is the reason for the Error -200077 error. If your sensor is going to measure accelerations greater than 4.9 g and output more than 5 V, you need to connect that sensor to a DSA input channel with an appropriate input range.
Second, do you have write access to the configured directory in the Application Settings dialog?
In order to support recording of acquired signals, the application requires write access to the configured directory. I will file an issue to the software because it is requiring write access to a directory even when recording may not be desired.

Question in attached PDF: Can we measure sound levels in Sones dBa etc.?
Answer: The DSA SFP does not support weighting. To perform weighted sound pressure, you would need the Sound and Vibration Toolkit (SVT). To perform loudness calculations, you need the Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite (SVMS). SVMS is a superset of SVT and includes examples for A weighted SPL (dBA) and for stationary loudness (Sones) and for time-varying loudness (Sones). The toolkit also includes the sample project source and build specification used to create the DSA Soft Front Panel.
