My NIDSA-4552, intermittant at first, appears to have failed

I have used the NIDSA-4552 out of LabVIEW for a while, and it would occaisionally hang during a long run (a couple of hours). Sometimes, I could exit LabVIEW and test and run the card from MAX. If this didn't work, I could shut down and restart, and everything would work again. Now, however, if I use MAX, the test panel will come up, there are no resource conflicts, but it hangs the system when I try to acquire. If i use LabVIEW, the system hangs on initialization of the card. I am runing LabVIEW 6.0.2, NI-DAQ 6.9.2f8, and NI-DSA 1.11 under Windows 2K

Dear Sir,

Thank you for using NI Developer Zone.

I am posting a new version of the NI-DSA driver version 1.2 in our ftp site: ftp://ftp.ni.com/incoming/nidsa12.zip

I believe that you have a card that needs to be repaired but before calling in to request a RMA, I suggest you to install NI-DAQ 6.9.2 and NI-DSA 1.2 in another computer in order to verify if the same problem persists in a different PC.

If this test results fruitless, please call the NI technical support number in order to receive direct assistance by one of our applications engineers.

Best Regards,

I tried the card in another PC, and it worked fine. I moved it back to th original machine, it sampled once, then hung.

I am now pursuing the solution via phone, but thanks for your help.
