LabVIEW 8.6 for Mac Computers?

So this past weekend, when we got the new LabVIEW software for build season, our team only got the PC installation discs. With previous versions, we always got the PC as well as Mac versions. Did they discontinue that this year? I'm wondering if anyone else got the Mac CDs, or is our team just missing them? We may be needing them because currently, we can only get the software onto one laptop; the other computer we have is a Mac, but we don't have the discs.

Hi!

LabVIEW for FRC only runs on PCs due to a number of necessary supporting drivers etc. that are necessary to work with the cRIO, (i.e. this is NI-wide, not just FIRST-related). Last year we gave some copies of plain LabVIEW for Mac out just so teams could learn LabVIEW but they were not able to actually develop on it.

The nice thing is that you can always use your Driver Station to develop on - the Classmate comes with XP and LabVIEW for FRC pre-installed!
