Hello Everyone,

I have a PCMCIA-FBUS/2 and NI-Fbus 4.01, I am working with a window 7 laptop , my laptop only have USB and Express Card port. My laptop is DELL M6800, has anyone used some adapter for use PCMCIA-Fbus/2?, is it posibble work with those contitions with a PCMCIA-Fbus/2?, thanks for your comments.

Hi,

I didn't have much experience of using the PCMCIA-FBUS/2. I suggest that you can use USB to serial cable to connect PCMCIA-FBUS/2 with your laptop. But I am not sure this will work.

Besides, I suggest you can use NI USB-8486 to replace PCMCIA-FBUS/2. It can connect the laptop directly through the USB.

I am sorry that I misunderstand your meaning on my last post. Please ignore the previous message. NI doesn't provide the conversion line to connect PCMCIA-FBUS/2 to the laptop.
