Uninstall Error

I have taken the plunge and purchased an NI Linking Device, and now want to install it on my computer, however when I try uninstall what is already there, a prerequisite to installing my CD software, I get the following error:
Error 2753: NIFB_OPCDA.exe.20A9EA876_A892_4E90_B580_71AFD6B892E9

because I tried to install NI's evaluation version and now I can't get it off. Their web site support is USELESS AND I need to use the material for a course tomorrow afternoon. I know why the last minute thing? I have also "repaired" the file a couple times to no avail as I still get the above error. It would sure be nice if there was a way to call tech support directly as well.

When I try to run the version I have installed I get the following error:
NIFCONF_ERR_REGISTRY_ERROR - Missing or corrupt registry information for application. Possibly need to reinstall. (Error Code = - 2000)

After clicking OK, I get the following error box
\binaries\nifb.exe
: no resource related information or the file is not existed.

I think I need instructions on how to MANUALLY UNINSTALL this software from my system so I can start over. If you have that information it would be MUCH appreciated.

First of all, you can try to reinstall the same NI-FBUS software again, if it works, you can uninstall again to remove it. Please make sure there is no any NI-FBUS program launched.

If it doesn't help, you need to uninstall it manually, please follow the steps below:
1. Use the attached "Windows Installer CleanUp Utility" and install the "msicuu.msi";
2. Launch this "Installer CleanUp Utility", choose the NI-FBUS software you want to unintall, press "Remove";
3. Delete the NI-FBUS software installation folder, which is like "c:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-FBUS";
4. Run the Registry Editor, delete the entry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Nifb";

Then the NI-FBUS software will be uninstalled, after that you can try to install it again.
