Translations...

From the "Book of Ray"

"sexe faible" can be interpreted several ways.

In this case we'll simply translate to "someone who enjoys a lot of sex" 😄

In some small villages in the north of France, it can be used to describe women.. but I'm sure that is not what CC was referring to. 😉

Speaking of CC...

CC.. don;t put too much info. The list is fine. I personally don;t need to see the percentage answers within a given forum. Heck.. these days, most of my posts are within this thread.. 😐 (yikes)

And I wouldn't want to upset tst with a percentage of my activities in Camp-Virtual-Instrument.

😉

Here is the tool I have built to retrieve the infos for you, greedy LVWers !..

Sent from my office, where I have no time-out pb

tst did'nt leave me enough time to comment it.
So, you will have to dig and suffer to understand parts of the program.
Basically, I call several time the same vi to make requests to the NI web server.
Then the html pagse are scanned to extract the relevant infos.
Last step is to compare the new data with last weeks files, and to save the whole info as an Excel file.

For the details, see inside

I feel obliged to correct JLV comments :
"someone who enjoys a lot of sex" should better correspond to "avoir un faible pour le sexe", where "faible" stands for fondness...

Another false interpretation would have been to confuse the idea of "sexe faible" with "impotence". Of course the right answer was "sexe faible" = women...

BTW, I'm NOT leaving in a small village in the north of France...

Hi CC

I just saw this message coincidentally - it's quite hard to keep track of what's going on in this thread.

If you're not sure about starting a new thread just for your great list, someone shall start a new poll.

I'm still of the opinion that it should get rid of this thread, which is expanding faster than speed of light ;).

Allow me to quote myself:
Which reminds me: you said you'd post your code once you clean it up. Has anything happened with that?
Thanks.

That doesn't sound to me like leaving no time. I was just wondering...
I would like to see your comments on the code. Personally, My code usually has a great deal of comments, and when going over old code, I don't read the code, but the comments, which tell me what the code does. I would like to read your comments (I can manage the french). Plus, I don't have access to 7.1 at the moment, anyway, so I'm not in a hurry.
I have started work on that graphing VI, but at the moment it's coming along slowly, mainly because the changes in the files over time dictate some compensation. If anyone else has the time and wants to complete the code, I would be happy to post the unfinished code.
I don't understand all those comments about me. I always have a cheerful disposition and am loved by all who know me. Ben is the evil one (insert innocent look here)...
Also, I think that by now, posting the updates in a new thread may not be a bad idea. The only thing I'm afraid of is that this long debate will simply leak to that thread and then you can be the father of two Proven (5 stars), Active (over 195 posts), Veteran (this one was definitely logged into more than 250 times) threads.
The speed of light - C = 299,985 Km\sec. The rate of expansion of this thread - 10 Posts a day (over the last few days). The average length of each post here (not including CC's attempts of artificially inflating the size of the thread and improving his # of posts by posting double ones) - too long. Using the advanced comparison express VI this comes out as infinity. Must mean Becktho's right...

Hi CC,

I made a short look at your code.

I would like to ask if this code is Open Source, so I can use it for analysing another forum and only for my private use. I know I have to replace all things getting the information from the HTTP document, the table and part of the code storing it into the Excel document. But there is a lot of code and technics I can reuse.

Maybe you have stated this in the post you announced the code, but you know it's a very long thread.

I attached the LV7.0 version. I could not test it if it will run because I have neither MS Reporting Toolkit nor the Internet Toolkit installed.

Don't complain about the comments. You're a lovely person. Keep your head up!
