Over the past couple of weeks I've noticed I've been getting frequent "error messages" or bars when posting replies. This is a pink bar that appears above the message that says something along the lines of "Sorry your request could not be completed.". But then it goes ahead and completes it anyway. Well, most of the time. For instance, it just happened when I was replying to this post: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Does-anyone-know-of-a-VI-or-how-to-go-about-writing-one-that/td-p/12...
Can't seem to pinpoint a specific pattern. Anyone else seeing this?

I have seen it on a very slow PC.
I think it's a default, as soon as your data is confirmed by the ni/lithium servers, it displays 'Sucess'.

Well, I've seen it on my machine at home as well, which while not a "super-computer", is hardly a slouch - it's a quad-core i7-850.

Saverio - Do you have any unusual viewing preferences set that are not default? I know you've had a lot of performance problems but I haven't heard many complaints from others. Since you see it on multiple computers, perhaps there is some setting that is slowing down the forums for your account.
Thanks,
Laura

I have seen that message also, and have been ignoring it.
Probably seen it (a total of) 3 times, in a random fashion on 2 different PC's.
Can't remember the circumstances, but most likely using Firefox.

Maybe I'm just more ... vocal than others.
I don't believe I had any "unusual" viewing preferences, whatever that means. I have emoticons off. And tags off. And text size set to small since the upgrade from a few months completely screwed up the font settings. Is that unusual?

Maybe... I remember you mentioning the font size before. I never could reproduce and font size stayed normal for me and most others. What screen resolution are you using (and browser because I'm forgetful).
Thanks,
Laura

I'm using Firefox 3.6.10. Screen Resolution: 1280x1024

I got one of those messages yesterday. But it always does complete the request, which is to post a reply.
I don't think there was anything special... Maybe there was an image being displayed...

I recall seeing the message at least once... may have been after a long period of time composing.
